Jerry's most significant characteristic is that he is able to be comfortable on anybody's lap.
Jerry, as well as Goofy, was an unplanned addition to our family. I went with my friend who wanted to buy another Aussie to look at some wonderful puppies and mainly to help her choose the right one. Surprisingly enough it was me who ended up with a new Aussie puppy. My friend didn’t choose any because of some family reasons and as I said it was me who fell in love with a blue merle boy with a huge black spot on his head. He spent the whole visit with me - sleeping on my knees. It was not easy to get him. He was reserved by that time and I had to fight for him literally on every side. Fortunately everything went well and he happened to be a new member of our family pack. Jerry is a middle-sized dog with long and thick hairs. He has right front and rear, strong back and a very beautiful head. He’s the most talkative Australian shepherd that I have ever met. He does love cuddling. Nobody else enjoys it as much as he does. Jerry loves being on his own, he is sometimes reserved but he is very tolerant as well. He is a happy dog when he can walk freely in the fields no matter who else there is with him. Jerry and Goofy are our loyal companions on our hiking trips.
